I'm ecstatic that Mike will return - you're definitely onto something here. It's interesting to compare Mike's story and character with some of your own earlier Cheeseburger adventures (Brat Punk Discordia, or Rapscallion Relish, say - even my own favourite, a Cheeseburger in Paris). I think that with this new voice you may have found a way out of the almost-scraped-barrel of autobiography you mentioned before (your own metaphor - I've always found your past fascinating!), by exploring alternate Cheeseburgers in even more extreme situations interacting with even wackier characters. I suspect that's what all good fiction.

Anyway, I hung on every episode, and cursed the weekends, so thanks again.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16435271.post-1158615286117993542006-09-18T17:34:00.000-04:002006-09-18T17:34:00.000-04:00This was an enjoyable read, and leaves it wide ope...This was an enjoyable read, and leaves it wide open for Mike's next (or previous) adventure. You've created some memorable characters here. Cherry could have her own spin-off, with her entourage and the Coriander's regulars.Markhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08722639974320971726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16435271.post-1158607554407915972006-09-18T15:25:00.000-04:002006-09-18T15:25:00.000-04:00Dear all,Thanks for reading. I'm hard at work knitting new stories for the coming weeks.

I'll be taking a day off tomorrow for a breather, and then beginning a five part short story called Bad Traffic.

Next will likely come another short (possibly just three installments) which deals briefly with Mike of Night Flight Mike as a young adult.

Hopefully that will buy me enough time to get the next novella into shape, which is a tale of revenge in paradise.

If you've enjoyed what you've read, pass it on -- you are the Web.

Love,
Cheeseburger BrownCheeseburger Brownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01384136287767500794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16435271.post-1158598285931095842006-09-18T12:51:00.000-04:002006-09-18T12:51:00.000-04:00Hi,I enjoyed the story. It's not always easy to do. And it wasn't as bleak as Victor's Moms Car. While that doesn't make it a better story per se, it certainly makes it more enjoyable for me to read. I look forward to seeing Mike and his family again.

Thanks for sharingMoksha Grenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10585999080521869550noreply@blogger.com
