I am in no danger of overstating the case when I saw it's a massive trainwreck waiting to happen.

I am exhausted and fried, but carrying on. The big deadline is in just less than one month from now.

Merry merry to everyone!

Yours,
CBBCheeseburger Brownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01384136287767500794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16435271.post-61364914901412047242009-12-22T11:33:45.308-05:002009-12-22T11:33:45.308-05:00A very satisfying yarn, CBB! Shorter than tales of years past, but no less endearing for that.

I have a sense that I should know who Rudolphus is, or was, in his past life as an erstwhile rapscallion of a sort even worse than Raoul. But I just can't conjure it. The threads of your stories are interwoven and, when combined with the intermittentness of their telling, well, it's hard to keep hold of all the loose ends, eh?

A very merry Christmas to all and sundry who enjoy these stories as much as I do.

Ho, ho, ho!!Simonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06946639624660520997noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16435271.post-10024383587657366242009-12-22T11:09:51.094-05:002009-12-22T11:09:51.094-05:00A fun, light-hearted look at the monks and how the...A fun, light-hearted look at the monks and how they help pull off the midnight ride. I was left wanting more... was it substantially shorter than previous CBB Santa yarns, or am I remembering the others as a whole?

I can't help imagining my six-year-old comparing the monks to the team of elves in Disney's "Prep and Landing," which we finally watched last night. Of course, the monks came first, but he doesn't know that.

I probably will hold off on reading this to him, though, since he still seems to be buying into the "santa is one man" story. Our own addition of The Elf on the Shelf has complicated matters, to be sure, and adding the monks might just be too much for him right now.Markhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08722639974320971726noreply@blogger.com
